About Birmingham Home Review

Who are we?

Simple. We are real estate enthusiasts, home shopping junkies, and yes, professional Birmingham REALTORS®! Each weekend, our team travels to different neighborhoods and visits open houses to see what styles and types of homes are for sale in that particular neighborhood. We take notes on what we like about the homes and then write brief descriptions to remind us later. Since our clientele has expanded over the past few years, we have had the opportunity to not only view, but sell homes in some of Birmingham's best neighborhoods.

Neighborhood Scouting

Initially, my wife and I would travel to neighborhoods to see the new homes being built around town. Not necessarily in the market for a new home, but if we did find something that seemed like a good fit, we would take notes, photos, and keep a journal of our impressions of the neighborhood. When friends, associates, and even real estate agents started asking for notes of areas for themselves, we decided to put the information online for other people to use as well.

It wasn't long after that when I realized I could help people directly by obtaining my real estate license. So in the spring of 2006, I officially became a member of the Birmingham Association of REALTORS®. Later that same year, I joined forces with an experienced real estate agent, Linda Beal. Her years of knowledge and expertise were an immediate asset to clients and home shoppers visiting Birmingham Home Review. Now in 2009, we are proud to be associated with Keller Williams Metro South Realty in Alabaster, and have branded our team as the Birmingham Real Estate Pros.
